George II of Great Britain
George II of Great Britain was born in 1683 in Hanover, Germany. He became the ruler of Hanover in 1727 and became King of Great Britain and Ireland the same year. He ruled for 33 years and was the last British monarch to lead an army in battle. Some of his achievements include the establishment of the Kingdom of Great Britain, the founding of the Royal Society, and the introduction of the first Prime Minister. George II was also known for his love for music, including the composition of his own music. He passed away in 1760 at the age of 76.
