Huma Qureshi (actress)

Huma Qureshi is an Indian actress who was born on July 28, 1986, in Delhi, India. She grew up in a Muslim family and completed her education from Gargi College in Delhi.

After finishing her studies, she landed her first acting opportunity in the Anurag Kashyap directed film "Gangs of Wasseypur" in 2012. The film was a commercial and critical success, and Huma's performance as Mohsina was praised.

Since then, Huma has acted in numerous Bollywood films, such as "Dedh Ishqiya," "Jolly LLB 2," and "Kaala." She has also acted in international productions such as the Netflix series "Leila" and the Hollywood film "Army of the Dead."

Apart from acting, Huma is also an activist for social causes, such as education for girls, menstrual hygiene, and human rights. She has been recognized for her work, being awarded the prestigious Woman of the Year award in 2017.
