Julia Vadimovna Paradiz

Julia Vadimovna Paradiz was born in 1965 in Russia. When she was only 16 years old, she moved to the United States with her parents. She eventually settled in New York City, where she attended New York University and received a degree in computer science. In 1991, Paradiz started working for Goldman Sachs, where she rose through the ranks to become a managing director in the firm's technology division. She helped to develop and implement Goldman Sachs' trading systems, and she became known for her expertise in risk management and electronic trading. In addition to her work at Goldman Sachs, Paradiz was a prominent figure in the technology industry. She was a frequent speaker at conferences and was often interviewed by the media. She was also a mentor to many young women in the industry, and she was a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. Sadly, Paradiz passed away in 2018 at the age of 53. Her legacy lives on through the many people she mentored and inspired and through her contributions to technology and finance.
