Karl, 8th Prince Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau

Karl, 8th Prince Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau, was born on October 11, 1958, to Ferdinand Bonaventura Prince Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau and his wife, Princess Maria Margaretha of Thurn and Taxis. He grew up in Austria and attended educational institutions in Austria, Switzerland, England, and the United States. After completing his studies, Karl worked in the banking and finance industry for several years in Switzerland, Austria, and the United States. He later returned to Austria to manage the family estate and was involved in various business ventures. In addition to his business pursuits, Karl has also been actively involved in promoting and supporting cultural and charitable causes, particularly in Austria. He has served on the board of several cultural institutions, including the Salzburg Festival Society and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Karl married Countess Aglae von Bredow in 1995, and the couple has two children. Karl's father passed away in 2009, and he succeeded him as the 8th Prince Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau.
