Prince Feodor Alexandrovich of Russia

Prince Feodor Alexandrovich of Russia was born on December 23, 1898, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He was the youngest son of Tsar Alexander III and Tsarina Maria Feodorovna. He was raised in a royal family and was educated at home by private tutors. In 1917, the Russian Revolution took place, which led to the overthrow of the monarchy. Feodor and his family were forced to flee from Russia and seek refuge in other countries. They first went to Finland and then to Denmark, where they lived in poverty and anonymity. Feodor's life changed dramatically when he met his future wife, Princess Irina Yusupov, in Paris in 1923. They fell in love and got married in 1926. The couple lived a luxurious life in Paris, where they became members of the social elite. During World War II, Feodor served in the French Army and served as a liaison officer between the Free French Forces and the Soviet military. After the war, he returned to Paris and lived a quiet life with his wife and children. Feodor died on November 30, 1968, in Paris, France, at the age of 69. His remains were later transferred to Russia and buried in the Romanov family tomb in Saint Petersburg.
