Prince Jaime, Count of Bardi

Prince Jaime, Count of Bardi, was born on October 13, 1972 in Nijmegen, Netherlands. He is the second son of Princess Irene of the Netherlands and Carlos Hugo, Duke of Parma. Prince Jaime was educated at the European School in Bergen and later on studied forestry and economics at the University of St. Andrews. He worked for the United Nations and the European Community before joining the Royal Netherlands Army, where he held various positions. In 2013, Prince Jaime was appointed as the Dutch Ambassador to the Holy See, serving in that capacity until 2018. In that role, he worked to further strengthen the relationship between the Netherlands and the Vatican. In 2014, Prince Jaime married Viktória Cservenyák, a lawyer and communications expert from Hungary. The couple has two children, Princess Zita Clara and Princess Gloria Irene. Prince Jaime is also actively involved in various charitable organizations and causes, particularly those related to sustainable development and environmental protection.
