Prince Welf Henry of Hanover

Prince Welf Henry of Hanover was born on May 14, 1984, in Hanover, Germany, as the son of Prince Ernst August of Hanover and his estranged wife, Chantal Hochuli. He grew up in Austria and Switzerland and attended various prestigious schools in Europe. In 2017, Prince Welf Henry married his longtime girlfriend, Hereditary Princess Alexandra of Hanover. The couple had been in a relationship for over a decade before tying the knot. They have one son, Prince Albert, born in 2019. Prince Welf Henry was active in various charitable organizations, including the Hanoverian School Society and the Welfen Foundation. He was also a passionate equestrian and participated in various competitions. Sadly, Prince Welf Henry passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 37, after a long illness. His death was mourned by many in the Hanoverian royal family and the wider community.
