Princess Sophie of Luxembourg

Princess Sophie of Luxembourg was born on February 23, 1967, in Luxembourg. She is the third child and second daughter of Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg and Princess Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium. She has three siblings: Archduchess Marie Astrid of Austria, Prince Jean of Luxembourg, and Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg. Sophie spent her childhood in Luxembourg and attended various schools, including the International School of Paris and the University of Geneva, where she received a degree in political science. In 1993, Sophie married Prince Alois of Liechtenstein, who later became the ruling prince of Liechtenstein. They have four children together: Prince Joseph Wenzel, Princess Marie Caroline, Princess Georgina, and Prince Nicolas. Sophie is an active member of various organizations in Liechtenstein, including the Liechtenstein Red Cross, the Liechtenstein Red Cross Youth, and the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee. She also supports various charities and causes related to children, education, and health. Sophie and her family reside in Vaduz Castle, which is the official residence of the ruling prince of Liechtenstein.
