Frederick Louis of Württemberg-Winnental

Frederick Louis of Württemberg-Winnental (1690-1734) was a German prince who served in the army of Charles XII of Sweden in the Great Northern War. He later became a field marshal in the Imperial Army of the Holy Roman Empire and fought in the War of the Spanish Succession. He was also appointed Governor of Belgrade and helped to repel Ottoman attacks on the Austrian Empire. In 1716, he married Princess Henriette of Nassau-Weilburg and had several children with her. He was known for his military prowess and his strategic thinking. He died in 1734 during a campaign in Italy.
